How it works

Paste a URL. Send a branded report.

Add a client site, choose what Janitor watches, and let it run. The moment something breaks you hear about it first, and every month the monitoring becomes a polished report with your studio’s name on every page. Four steps, start to finish.

The four steps

Set up once, then let it run

There is no long onboarding and nothing to install. You add a site, decide what matters, pick where alerts land, and brand the report. Janitor handles the watching from there.

01 Add a site

Drop in any URL and Janitor gets to work

Paste a web address and Janitor takes a screenshot, sets a baseline, and starts monitoring straight away. Group sites by client so your whole portfolio stays organised from day one.

In the appDrop in any URL you’d like Janitor to keep an eye on.
02 Choose what to monitor

Pick from 24 checks across 7 categories

Enable everything in one tap, or tailor the checks per site. Each one runs on its own schedule, from uptime at the edge to cookie consent, so you watch exactly what each client needs and nothing you don’t.

In the appTurn checks on or off per site. Every check runs on its own schedule.
03 Get alerted

Hear about a broken site before your client does

A failed check sends an alert to the channel you choose: email, Slack or a custom webhook. Routing is configurable per site and per check, and any alert can be snoozed while you work on the fix.

In the appAdd a channel so we can let you know when a check on one of your sites fails.
04 Send branded reports

Brand it once, then send a polished report when it suits you

Set your logo, agency name and colours, add a cover subtitle and footer, and Janitor turns the checks into a clean PDF. Reports are optional: generate one on demand before a call, or schedule it weekly or monthly. Have it land straight in your client’s inbox, or come to you first so you can review it before it goes out.

In the appEach report looks like it came from your agency, not from us. Send it to the client, or to yourself to review first.

Step 2, up close

Twenty-four checks, grouped into seven categories

This is what you are choosing from in step two. Each category protects a different part of a website, and you can switch any of them on or off per site.

Step 4, up close

The deliverable, not a dashboard export

This is the report itself, whether it lands in your client’s inbox or comes to you to review first. A report you can read top to bottom, leading with the score and the good news before it gets to the fixes, with your studio’s name on every page.

  • A

    A health score, 0 to 100

One number with a plain label, Excellent, Good, Needs attention or Critical issues found, plus a one-sentence summary and uptime for the period.

  • B

    What’s working well

The passing checks, grouped by category, so the report opens with reassurance instead of a wall of problems.

  • C

    Recommended actions, by severity

Each finding is written as what it is, why it matters, and the next step, grouped Urgent, Recommended or Informational.

    Urgent Recommended Informational
  • D

    Resolved this period

The warnings you cleared since last time, so the client sees the retainer paying off. An optional technical appendix and your own note round it out.
